Don't freak out! This is just to confirm that Jif PB is halal inshaAllah.
Dear Ms. Hosain,
This letter is in reference to your recent contact with Jif. We appreciate the time you have taken to contact us and most certainly enjoy hearing from consumers who enjoy our products.
In response to your inquiry, the Jif Peanut Butter does not contain any animal derivatives.
Sincerely,
"SC"
Consumer Relations Representative
Check out this JIF container from 1958
It's really sad how they use more damaging containers now, i.e. plastic ones. Glass is so much better for health purposes and the environment. We think we've 'advanced' from previous generations, but in so many ways we're not advanced at all. Just dumb. Haha.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, pb = <3.
Maybe you have learned from 2009 but this comment was retarded
DeleteYeah definitely, look at how there was the BPA craze with infant bottles and most people use BPA free bottles or just opt for glass, yet everything else for adults is in plastic. They take so much care and caution with small babies (not a bad thing) but neglect older people. Sure our bodies arent as vulnerable, but we can still be effected by things... esp. long term build up.
ReplyDeleteThank God :]
ReplyDeleteAny word on Skippys brand peanut butter?
What a relief; I have two jars of JIF peanut butter in my fridge and was wondering if I could even finish them. Thank you very much for taking out the time to inquire about it. May Allah reward your initiative and proactivity.
