Nestle Hot Chocolate

A lot of hot chocolates contain MONO AND DIGLYCERIDES and/or WHEY.

This is what Nestle had to say about their hot chocolate:

Dear Lazeena,

None of the Nestle Hot Cocoa flavors contain any animal derivatives except the products with marshmallows, as the gelatin comes from pork.

Sincerely,

  1. Jazakallah khyr.

If one little detail(what date that communication with nestle took place, their email/contact number, etc) is added that might be even more helpful.

  2. Many products also contain alcohol where you would not expect it or in an extraction process so be sure to always ask concerning that too. And just a tip, if a product has a kosher pareve OU or OUD symbol it does not have meat in it and most nestle products have it, Jazakum Allahu khyran sister
