All of Colonna Brother's grated cheeses are halal alhamdulillah because they use microbial enzymes in them - which seems to be the case with most grated cheeses.

    If you go to a good cheese counter you should be able to find a good quality vegetarian (rennet free) Parmigiano-Reggiano, I wouldn't recommend using the pre-grated stuff, it's pretty disgusting.
